Last week, our family took a three-night trip to Chicago for our Spring Break vacation. One of the highlights of the trip for me was visiting the Chicago LEGO store. My sons and I took the opportunity to load up on some new LEGO sets. More about those later. For now, we’ll focus on Camden’s Jokerland set (#76035).
To give you some perspective, Camden loves watching videos on YouTube and has been harassing me for a long time to help him make a YouTube video. I’ve messed around with making assembly videos in the past but never posted anything online. I thought this would be a good opportunity to get some video editing software and make a video of him assembling his set.
When we returned from Chicago last Weds. afternoon, we set up a table and a webcam and away Camden went. I helped him a little bit at first until he got comfortable in front of the camera. He did a great job with the set and got it built in just under 3 1/2 hours.

Here’s our “professional” studio set-up. Yes, I used multiple tables in place of a tripod. It still turned out pretty well.
Below is the finished video (10 minutes and 36 seconds). If you have a minute, I would really appreciate it if you could take 30 seconds and like his video on YouTube. It would really make his day.
I’m looking forward to making other LEGO videos in the future.
